The 2024 Minnie Untermyer Concert Series
The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy announces its fourth annual Minnie Untermyer Concert Series. Taking place from June 8 to September 15, 2024, in the amphitheater in the magnificent Walled Garden and overlooking the length of this monumental Indo-Persian space, nine concerts have been scheduled. There will be orchestral and vocal music as well as dance performances. Popular offerings will include jazz and theremin.

AN AFTERNOON WITH RICHARD RODGERS - SEPTEMBER 15
Spend an afternoon with the Great American Songbook, as Marc Molomot & Friends perform classic works of Richard Rodgers.Marc Molomot, tenor, Robert Osborne, bass, Amy Justman, soprano, and accompanist Alex Ruvinstein reach into the Great American Songbook for this performance of songs written by Richard Rodgers, one of Amerca's most successful theater composers. They will also present songs by later generations of composers with personal attachments to Rodgers, including Stephen Sondheim, a close friend of Richard's daughter Mary, and Adam Guettel, Rodgers' grandson.
Richard Rodgers composed songs for Broadway musicals beginning in 1919, collaborating with lyricist Lorenz Hart. Later, Rodgers worked with Oscar Hammerstein to create some of the greatest works in American musical theater. These songs have become standards the world over.
This performance is rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the performance will take place indoors in the Community Room of the Cola Center at Untermyer Park & Gardens, and there will be signs directing you indoors. All sales are final.
